Uganda Direct Summit 2026 is a one-day specialty coffee and direct trade summit taking place on 10 May 2026 in Kampala, Uganda. It is designed to connect Ugandan farmers, Q-graders, cooperatives, processors, and exporters directly with international roasters through a practical day of cupping, dialogue, and partnership building.
The summit brings together Ugandan farmers and cooperatives, Q-graders and cupping professionals, exporters and processors, international roasters, coffee organizations and development partners, as well as media, influencers, and wider coffee-sector stakeholders.
Participants will engage in live cupping sessions to align sensory language and quality expectations, discussions on quality standards in export markets and why some coffees earn more, farmer transformation stories from origin, conversations on Uganda's position in the global coffee market, and practical sessions on value addition, roasting, branding, and export readiness. The program also includes the launch of the Uganda Cup and the Coffee Passport.
Uganda Direct helps build direct trade relationships, improve understanding of quality and pricing, promote value addition, and strengthen Uganda's specialty coffee identity in international markets. It is designed to create real opportunities by connecting origin more directly to buyers and consumers.
